Sunday Weigh In



Drumroll please...today's weight is...

204!!

That's my lightest weight since starting, for a total of 31 lbs. lost and 29 lbs. to reach my target, which clearly won't happen in the next two weeks. My goal is to get below 200 lbs. before Sunday June 1. Completely doable, but it will require more discipline than I've shown lately, especially where food is concerned. I'll shoot for frequent, healthy meals and 45 minutes of cardio 3 times a week.

A one pound gain from last week. Not unusual because my diet sucked and I only ran twice. Bygones. I have GOT to get back on the stick this week. My target weight loss for Sunday 5/18 is 2lbs.

Sunday Weigh In


Drumroll please...today's weight is...

206!

In an astonishing turn of events, I haven't gained a single pound. This is astonishing because due to illness, I haven't been on the treadmill in almost three weeks and my diet has slipped somewhat in that time.

So, tomorrow it's back on the horse. A 45 minute run in the morning at least three times this week and a better diet throughout the week. It's obvious that I won't hit my target weight by my June 1 deadline, but I've come a long way and will hopefully be below 200 by the end of the month. But the program continues and with luck and hard work I will reach my goal by my 40th birthday on October 4.
